The Story of Art Fireworks Through Time

From our very first show to today, every milestone represents growth, trust, and evolution.

1998

Foundation

Christos Dantoudis establishes Art Fireworks, starting with small local events in Crete.

2000

First Major Event

Successful execution of a large-scale show for the presentation of the new Hyundai Santa Fe model, establishing the company in the local market.

2001

Expansion into Wholesale

Import of products from China and Europe and distribution across Greece (ongoing).

2003

Expansion in Heraklion

Strengthening presence and expanding services in the wider Heraklion area.

2010

Launch of “Art Events”

Η Σοφία Νταντούδη Αποστολάκη ξεκινά τη μονάδα Balloon Art & Event Styling, δίνοντας νέα δημιουργική διάσταση στα projects.

2018

Licensed Storage Facilities

Operation of storage facilities with the largest storage capacity in Greece (100 tons), strengthening our B2B network.

2024

New Store in Gazi

A new customer service hub, reinforcing our presence in the balloon sector with new imports and exceptional creations.

Key Milestones

From the very beginning, Art Fireworks has been involved in major events across Greece.

From high-end private events, such as Kandafis’ birthday celebrations, to VIP productions in iconic venues like Elounda Beach, our journey has been built on trust and continuous growth.

At the same time, we have established a strong presence in large-scale public events, collaborating with municipalities and major organizations such as the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) and the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK), delivering high-demand sports and cultural productions.

From annual institutions like the Rethymno Carnival to concerts featuring leading artists, sporting events, and major seasonal celebrations (festive lightings, Easter, New Year’s Eve), our presence has become a point of reference.

Key milestones include major events such as Oriflame 2008 at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA), as well as productions across Kos, Rhodes, and Crete, beach parties, and established events such as the Miss Crete pageant.

Bringing a fresh creative perspective through Art Events, she designs thematic decorations and combines colors and forms that seamlessly complement the show’s artistic direction.

She coordinates timelines, organization, and communication with clients and partners. Responsible for financial management and the development of new collaborations, she ensures that the entire experience—before, during, and after each event—is flawless.
