Legal Framework
Fireworks Regulations
The use, trade, and storage of fireworks and special effects in Greece are governed by a clear legal framework, ensuring public safety and the proper operation of businesses within the industry.
On December 9, 2015, Directive 2013/29/EU of the European Parliament and the Council was adopted, establishing the essential safety requirements for pyrotechnic articles.
This Directive has been incorporated into Greek legislation and forms the legal basis for the distribution, storage, and use of fireworks in the country.
